With over 30 years of military/Instructor experience, our team has what it takes to provide our students with the knowledge and skill to confidently and responsibly defend themselves and their families.

What sets us apart? For the last 10 years we have been providing our community with gunsmith and consulting services. We pride ourselves in knowing our way around a firearm.

At FireRidge, we have always been supporters of our military, first responders and law enforcement. Our staff is comprised of army/navy veterans and active firefighter/paramedic/law enforcement members that are currently serving their communities.

Our Team

Jerrod Senter

Jerrod Senter

Jerrod is a former Army 19D Cavalry Scout. He has been a full time firefighter and paramedic since 2016. Jerrod is an NRA basic pistol instructor, Range Safety Officer, certified gunsmith and competitive pistol shooter. Jerrod has always enjoyed being outdoors and has a real passion for teaching and firearms.

Mike Senter

Mike is a firearms enthusiast. Hunting, fishing and boating are also some outdoor activities he enjoys. He believes in the right to bear arms and many other freedoms that being an American has to offer. Mike started in public service as a paramedic and later became a firefighter. He has served on various departments over the years fulfilling many needs in the community. Mike believes in a strong military. The Senter family has served in the military in every conflict America has fought in since the founding of this country. Mike spent 6 1⁄2 years service in the State Guard Division of the Ohio National Guard. He served 3 years in the army side as a Military Police Officer and 3 1⁄2 years with Ohio’s Navy as the operations Officer of a ship’s company. He believes that our veterans are the very fabric of our great nation. As a member of the NRA, Mike is a certified handgun instructor and range safety officer. Over the years, he has taught firearms safety and personal protection methods to hundreds of people. Mike is an accomplished gunsmith and was co-owner and operator of FireRidge Gunsmith, LLC. He is now using his knowledge to help clients find the right tools, supplies and equipment that will help enhance their shooting experience.

Tim Senter

Tim Senter

Tim is one of the founding members of FireRidge Gunsmiths, LLC. He is a licensed gunsmith, an NRA instructor and a range safety officer. Tim has been involved in community service since the age of fourteen. He started as an explorer scout on the local fire department. Currently, he is a full-time paramedic/fire fighter. Tim enjoys many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and target shooting.

Don Wallis

Don Wallis

Don has been an avid shooter for the last 20+ years. During his 17 years in law enforcement and 4 years as a Cavalry Scout in the US Army, Don has become proficient with multiple different weapon systems. His favorite is still his Remington 870 Magnum police issue shotgun. Don is a certified instructor for NRA Basic Pistol, Stop the Bleed, ALICE Training and Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE). He has attended numerous training schools over the last 20+ years.

Matthew Devadan

Matthew Devadan was born in New Jersey but spent most of his formative years in North Dakota. He is an active 4H advisor and leader in Richland County. Thru the 4H he was able to attain his license thru the State of Ohio for Basic Shotgun instruction in 2014 and then completed Advanced Shotgun instruction in 2016. He is one of the leaders of the Richland County 4H Shooting club educating children from ages 9 thru 19. As a partner, he utilizes his MBA in Finance to aid in the maintenance of the company’s financials. Another benefit that he brings is the utilization of his 75 yard outdoor shooting range where majority of the CCW classes are being held. He is an NRA Pistol Instructor who enjoys to shoot, but gets more enjoyment from seeing the growth of other individuals after instruction.
